House Rules & Information for Your Stay: To ensure a peaceful, seamless, and relaxing stay at ZENSES Chalets, we have compiled the most important information and house rules for our guests. Here you will find everything you need to know about arrival and departure, parking, chalet amenities, on-site facilities, local activities, and booking conditions. Our goal is to offer you a calm, nature-centered retreat at the Rursee in the Eifel National Park, where privacy, silence, and comfort are respected by all guests.

Arrival & Departure Directions to ZENSES Chalets: Due to our unique lakeside location inside the Eifel National Park, some navigation systems may suggest routes that are closed or unsuitable. Please always follow the official directions provided by us, which you can download in advance. The journey to Heimbach already offers breathtaking views and sets the tone for your stay.

Arrival Days: Our chalets have fixed arrival days, as cleaning and key handover are organized accordingly.  Good to know: We are actively working on making arrival days more flexible in the near future, to offer even greater convenience for our guests.
 
Arrival Time: Your booking includes a binding arrival time, usually between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, as agreed in your rental contract. If you expect to arrive after 5:00 PM, please inform us a few days in advance. Later check-ins are possible but subject to availability and incur an additional fee of €30.

Departure Time: On your departure day, the chalet is available until 10:00 AM. After this time, our team prepares the chalet for the next guests. If you wish to spend additional time in Heimbach, you may leave your car in the visitor parking area until 3:00 PM, subject to availability.

Parking & Mobility:  Each chalet includes one reserved parking space on the property. The chalets are reached via gravel paths (50–150 meters). Except for the Seeloft, direct car access to the chalet is not possible. An additional parking space can be booked for €10 per day, subject to availability. Motorcycles are not permitted on the property, to preserve the quiet atmosphere. Electric car charging is available at public charging stations in Heimbach. Bicycles Guests may store bicycles securely in our fenced and gated bicycle shed. The property is directly connected to the Rursee cycling route and Eifel National Park trail network.

Chalet Amenities: Freshly made beds with cotton linens  as well as bath towels are provided upon arrival.  Weekly linen change for stays longer than 7 nights.  Private sauna in every chalet.  Wellness shower. Fully equipped kitchen and Weber gas grill (Weber gas cartridges required.  Flat-screen TV, satellite reception, DVD player, Bluetooth/DAB radio Complimentary Wi-Fi (high-speed internet available on request for a fee)

Mobile reception: Best coverage with Telekom (D1). Other networks may be limited due to the valley location.

Nature, Activities & Surroundings: ZENSES Chalets is located on a 20,000 m² waterfront property directly at the Heimbach reservoir, surrounded by forests, water, and protected landscapes. Direct access to hiking and cycling trails of the Eifel National Park Bicycle and e-bike rentals available on site Swimming only at official bathing areas of the Rursee Canoes, electric boats, and pedal boats available nearby Fishing permitted at designated areas of the Rursee (license required) Shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants are located approximately 1.5 kms away in Heimbach.

Privacy is a core value: chalets are separated by greenery, and some offer complete seclusion. 

Booking Conditions & House Rules: Adults only retreat (18+) Maximum occupancy: 2 guests per chalet. Non-smoking property.  No pets allowed, including dogs and cats. We strongly recommend travel cancellation insurance.
