House Rules & Information for Your Stay: To ensure a peaceful, seamless and relaxing stay at ZENSES Chalets, we have compiled the most important information and house rules for our guests. Here you will find everything you need to know about arrival and departure, parking, chalet amenities, on-site facilities, local activities as well as booking conditions. Our goal is to offer you a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature at the Rursee in the Eifel National Park, where privacy, silence and comfort are respected by all guests.

Privacy is one of our core values: the chalets are separated by greenery, and some offer complete seclusion.

Booking Conditions & House Rules: Adults-only retreat (18+) Maximum occupancy: 2 guests per chalet.

WARNING: According to our house rules, pets, children and visitors are strictly prohibited. Guests arriving with pets or children will be required to leave the accommodation immediately without refund. Any violation or attempt to bypass our house rules will result in a €250 fine plus €100 per night. ZENSES is a wellness retreat focused on deep quietness and the wellbeing of all guests. We appreciate your respect and understanding.

Non-Smoking Accommodation (All chalets have terraces and outdoor spaces where smoking outside is permitted. Taking ashtrays or cigarette butts inside the chalet is not permitted. Please dispose of them directly in the outdoor waste bins. Bringing cigarettes into the chalet or smoking inside the chalet can result in the retention of the security deposit if detected by our cleaning team and/or following guests.

No pets allowed, including dogs and cats.

Visitors are not permitted on the property or inside the chalets unless explicitly authorized in writing by ZENSES prior to their arrival.

Arrival & Departure Directions to ZENSES Chalets: Due to our unique lakeside location inside the Eifel National Park, some navigation systems may suggest closed or unsuitable routes. Please only use "Waze" or "Google Maps" and add "ZENSES Nature Chalets".

Check-in Time: Check-in starts at 4:00 PM. Earlier check-ins are available at 2:00 PM, as well as late check-outs at 12:00 pm and can be conveniently booked through our online check-in platform. Departure Time on your departure day, the chalet is available until 10:00 AM. Afterwards, our team prepares the chalet for the next guests.

Parking & Mobility: Each chalet includes one reserved parking space on the property. The chalets are reached via gravel paths (50–150 meters). Except for the Seeloft, direct car access to the chalet is not possible. An additional parking space can be booked through our online check-in platform for €7.50 per day. Charging stations are available at our chalets (subject to availability). The property is directly connected to the Rursee cycling route and the Eifel National Park hiking trail network.

Chalet Amenities: Freshly made beds and bath towels are provided upon arrival (additional linen and towel changes can be booked through our online check-in platform). Private sauna in every chalet. Wellness shower. Fully equipped kitchen and Weber gas grill (Weber gas cartridges required). Flat-screen TV, satellite reception, DVD player, Bluetooth/DAB radio. Complimentary Wi-Fi (high-speed internet available upon request for an additional fee).

Mobile Reception: The best mobile coverage is available with Telekom (D1). Other networks may be limited due to the valley location.

Nature, Activities & Surroundings: ZENSES Chalets is located on a 20,000 m² waterfront property directly at the Heimbach reservoir, surrounded by forests, water and protected natural landscapes. Direct access to hiking and cycling trails of the Eifel National Park. Bicycle and e-bike rentals available on site. Swimming permitted only at official bathing areas of the Rursee. Canoes, electric boats and pedal boats available nearby. Fishing permitted in designated areas of the Rursee (fishing license required). Shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants are located approximately 1.5 km away in Heimbach.
